S5V
The S5V is a three-way active main studio monitor with a 12-inch woofer, 4-inch dome/cone hybrid midrange driver and S-ART folded-ribbon tweeter. It is aimed at professionals working in medium-sized and larger control rooms.

The S5V is a powered three-way monitor from the S Series. It combines a 12-inch HexaCone woofer, a 4-inch carbon composite dome/cone hybrid midrange driver and an S-ART folded-ribbon tweeter handmade in Berlin. Aluminum waveguides on the mid and high drivers keep off-axis response stable, so several people can sit in the sweet spot at once.
Three Class D amplifiers supply 700 W to the woofer, 300 W to the midrange and 100 W to the tweeter. A built-in DSP handles the crossovers, driver protection, user EQ and in-room voicing, with six parametric EQs, room compensation shelves, five preset memories and up to 5 ms of delay.
Audio comes in through an analog XLR input or an AES3 digital input. A USB port allows software updates and lets a computer control the DSP functions. The cabinet is heavily built with rounded edges, and a bass reflex system with redesigned ports reduces turbulence-related coloration.
