NEUTRON is an analog synthesizer built around two 3340 voltage-controlled oscillators, a 12 dB state variable filter, a VCA, a multi-wave LFO and a bucket-brigade delay. Each oscillator offers five waveform options (tone mod, square, sawtooth, triangle, sine) across a 3-octave range. A paraphonic switch lets the two oscillators be controlled independently, and an overdrive circuit can overload the VCA. Two ADSR envelope generators handle shaping.
The filter covers high-pass, band-pass and low-pass modes, with a 10 Hz to 15 kHz cutoff range, modulation and envelope depth controls and keytracking. The analog delay gives 25 to 640 ms of delay time and self-oscillates at maximum repeats. The semi-modular design works without patching, and an onboard matrix adds 32 inputs and 24 outputs on 3.5 mm TS jacks for patching.
It can be played from a keyboard or computer over MIDI via DIN or USB. Audio connections are a main input and output plus a headphone output with its own level control. The unit can be moved into a standard Eurorack 80HP case.
