The XENYX 1002SFX combines two mono mic/line channels, four stereo channels, a stereo RCA streaming input and a stereo USB input, so up to 14 audio signals can be blended. The mono channels use XENYX microphone preamps with 48V phantom power for condenser microphones. Output can go to headphones or to TRS outputs.
Each channel has level, panorama/balance and effect send controls. Mono channels add a Gain control and a 3-band EQ with a switchable Low Cut, while the stereo line-level channels have a switchable 12 dB boost. The internal Klark Teknik FX processor offers a hundred presets, and the FX send can also feed an external processor such as the Behringer FX2000. A 60-mm Main fader sets the overall output level.
The mixer connects to a computer or mobile device over USB, and it can also act as a sub mixer feeding network-enabled audio devices. When nothing is plugged into stereo line inputs 9/10, that channel receives the USB signal, and its control then sets the USB level.
