The EdgeMax EM90 is a two-way, 8-inch in-ceiling loudspeaker with a 70/100V transformer, built for mounting near wall-ceiling boundaries. It suits installers fitting commercial spaces such as shops, restaurants, hospitality venues and houses of worship.

The EM90 is a premium in-ceiling loudspeaker that uses a PhaseGuide waveguide with a high-frequency compression driver. Its asymmetrical vertical pattern lets it cover a room when placed near the point where wall and ceiling meet. This allows fewer units per room than conventional dome-tweeter ceiling speakers and avoids centre-ceiling or wall-mounted cabinets in design-sensitive interiors.
The woofer is 8 inches and gains extra bass from the nearby wall boundary. A 2-way passive crossover is paired with a 70/100V transformer, which can be bypassed for 8 Ω operation. Nominal coverage is 90° horizontal and 75° vertical, so it is intended for placement close to room corners.
Installation uses spring-loaded mounting arms that hold automatically. A magnetically attached grille gives quick access to the wiring and tap settings. The unit carries UL1480A listing for installation in air-handling (plenum) spaces. Rough-in pans and a black grille are available as accessories.
