Two microphones, a main one and a noise-reduction one, handle audio, which is recorded as 48 kHz AAC.
The unit can be used on its own or with the DJI Mimo app through a smartphone adaptor for Lightning or USB-C phones. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi need a separate Wireless Module. Media is stored on a microSD card up to 256 GB, and files can be copied through a card reader, over USB-C or through the app. The firmware is updated through the app.
