Debut B6.2

The DB62 is the bookshelf model of the Debut 2.0 series. It pairs a 1-inch soft-dome tweeter, set in a wide-dispersion waveguide, with a 6.5-inch woven aramid-fiber woofer. The tweeter reaches 35,000 Hz, and the woofer cone has a revised shape for stiffness and damping. The woofer also has an oversized magnet and a vented pole piece.

The cabinet is CARB2-rated MDF with internal bracing and a black ash vinyl finish. Two flared ports sit on the front, so the speaker can stand close to a wall or inside a shelf without losing performance. Sensitivity is 87 dB and nominal impedance is 6 Ω, and the speaker is described as easy to drive with most AV receivers and amplifiers.

Connection is through 5-way metal binding posts. The speaker can be used on its own as a stereo pair or combined with other Debut 2.0 models, such as the DC62 center channel, DA42 Atmos module and S10.2 subwoofer, in a multichannel system.
