Elegant BS305

The BS305 is a two-way bookshelf speaker built around a milled aluminum enclosure. The rigid cabinet is meant to limit resonance while keeping the speaker small, and it is offered in a high-gloss black or white finish. A 25 mm fabric dome tweeter and a 115 mm cone woofer cover a stated range of 42 Hz to 23 kHz, with the crossover at 3500 Hz.

The speaker has a 4 Ω nominal impedance and 86 dB sensitivity (2.83 V/1 m). The recommended amplifier power is 50 to 150 W per channel, and peak power handling is 120 W. A rear-firing port handles bass reflex loading. The voicing is described as natural and spacious, aimed at vocals, acoustic recordings and modern music.

Connection is through 5-way binding posts on the rear, for use with a stereo amplifier or receiver. Optional magnetic grilles in different colors can be fitted to match the room. The cabinet measures 208 x 123 x 270 mm (W x H x D) and weighs 5.5 kg.
