Περιγραφή

The F1-12S is an update of the earlier F1-12 and sits at the top of Fyne Audio's range. It is a two-way design with a single 300mm IsoFlare point-source driver that has a FyneFlute surround and a multi-fibre bass/midrange cone. A 75mm titanium dome compression tweeter is mounted at its centre, and the maker states the response is time aligned up to over 26kHz. The crossover has been redesigned and the driver refined in this version for improved low-frequency output.

The twin-cavity cabinet stands on a 20kg machined aluminium plinth. The plinth houses the BassTrax Tractrix LF diffuser, which works with a downward-firing port. The crossover is a bi-wired, passive, low-loss design with 2nd-order low-pass and high-pass sections, and it is deep cryogenically treated.

Two system adjustments are provided: high-frequency energy (750Hz to 26kHz) and presence (2.5kHz to 5.0kHz), each +/-3dB. Sensitivity is 96dB, nominal impedance is 8 ohms, and the recommended amplifier power is 20 to 350 watts RMS. Each speaker weighs 72kg. The finish is Piano Gloss Walnut.
