F502

The F502 is a floorstanding speaker from the F500 Series. It uses a 200mm IsoFlare driver, which combines a multi-fibre bass/mid cone with a 25mm titanium dome compression tweeter, to give point-source radiation with constant directivity and stable imaging off axis. A matching 200mm multi-fibre bass driver works alongside it in a 64-litre twin-cavity coupled reflex cabinet.

The speaker stands on a dedicated plinth that includes the BassTrax Tractrix diffuser. The port fires downwards, and the diffuser spreads bass energy evenly into the room. The front and rear baffles are gently curved, which the maker says reduces cabinet colouration. Finishes are dark oak or black oak real wood veneer, or piano gloss black or white.

Electrically it is an 8 ohm design with 91dB sensitivity, suited to amplifiers of 40 to 180 watts RMS. The page describes it as suitable for larger rooms while still able to reproduce wide dynamics at low listening levels in smaller ones. Crossover points are 250Hz and 1.7kHz.
