The Mission 1 is the entry model of a three-camera compact cinema line. It pairs a 1-inch sensor with the GP3 system-on-a-chip and a fixed F2.8 lens. It records 8K at up to 30 fps, 4K at up to 120 fps and 1080p at up to 240 fps, with 10-bit colour, HLG HDR, GP-Log2 with LUT and a top bit rate of 240 Mbps. Stills are 50MP, with RAW (.GPR) output available.
The body has a 2.59-inch touch OLED on the back and a 1.4-inch front LCD. Four microphones record stereo audio, with 24-bit PCM and 32-bit float options, USB audio, wireless audio and up to three tracks. The 2150mAh Enduro 2 battery fast-charges and is rated for up to 5 hours of 1080p30 in Endurance mode and up to 1.5 hours at 8K30. Operation is rated from -4°F to 113°F (-20°C to 45°C).
It connects over Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth BLE 5.3, with a USB-C port, GPS and cloud upload through a subscription. Mounting is by built-in fingers, 1/4-20 threads and a magnetic latch. Footage can be reviewed and edited in the Quik app. Compared with the Mission 1 Pro, it lacks 8K60, 8K Open Gate, 4K240 and burst slo-mo, and its frame grabs are 33MP rather than 44MP.
