H100

The H100 is a two-channel integrated amplifier that uses technology carried over from Hegel's Reference pre-amplifiers and power amplifiers. Compared with the H70, it has a larger power supply and twice as many output transistors. It also uses Hegel's FET-based Next-Gen technology, which is meant to reduce higher-order harmonic distortion.
A USB input with an on-board sound card lets a PC or Mac connect directly. It is plug and play, needs no drivers, and handles 16 bit / 48 kHz audio. Analog connections are four unbalanced RCA inputs and one balanced XLR input. A Home Theatre input has a fixed volume, so the H100 can act as the power amplifier in a system with a surround receiver.
Outputs are two RCA pre outs, one RCA recording output and a pair of heavy-duty gold-plated speaker terminals. The amplifier weighs 16 kg and draws 30 W in standby switched on.
