H30
The Hegel H30 is a mono power amplifier rated at more than 1,100 W into 8 ohms, aimed at listeners who want a very high-power amplifier able to drive demanding loudspeakers. It can also be run as a stereo amplifier, and it is listed among Hegel's discontinued products.

The H30 is a power amplifier designed as a monoblock, with a fully balanced output stage. The maker states that it can also be used as a stereo power amplifier. It is rated at more than 1,100 W into 8 ohms and is stable down to a 1 ohm load. The output stage uses 56 high-speed bipolar transistors, and the power supply is a dual-mono design with 2000 VA of transformer capacity and 270,000 μF of capacitance.
It uses an updated version of Hegel's patented SoundEngine technology to reduce distortion. The input and voltage gain stages combine JFET and MOS-FET transistors, which are intended to reduce harmonic distortion. Compared with the Hegel H4SE, the H30 has higher-quality output transistors and dual transformers, which are said to lower mechanical noise.
Signal connections are an RCA unbalanced input and an XLR balanced input. A single pair of heavy-duty gold-plated terminals carries the signal to the speakers. The unit has an ECO mode that cuts consumption to 30 W. It comes in a black finish and weighs 45 kg.
