The PREMIUM PR:O 8 is a passive two-way mid/high unit built around a 1-inch compression driver and an 8-inch cone speaker in a bass-reflex MDF cabinet. It is rated at 300 W RMS, 600 W program and 1200 W peak into 8 Ohms, with a frequency range of 89 Hz to 19 kHz (-6 dB) and a maximum peak SPL of 122 dB.
The constant directivity horn gives an 80° x 80° dispersion pattern, and the crossover sits at 2.5 kHz with 12 dB/oct. slopes. A dynamic protective circuit guards the high-frequency driver. The cabinet has a 3° MonoTilt angle, three M8 rigging points and two integrated handles, and the front is covered by a steel grille backed with acoustic foam.
Connection is through two NL4 Speakon sockets, one input and one parallel output. Amp presets and filter sheets, including limiter settings, are available for Lab.gruppen IPX and IPD series amplifiers. At 10 kg and 27 x 42 x 27.5 cm, it is easy to place in confined spaces.
