KH 870
The KH 870 is a 400 W active studio subwoofer with two 10-inch drivers and a front-ported cabinet, reaching down to 18 Hz. It includes an analog 7.1 bass manager, so it suits stereo, surround and 3D monitoring in music, broadcast and post-production rooms.

The KH 870 is an analog, bass-managed subwoofer with two 265 mm (10") long-throw drivers in a wooden, front-ported cabinet. Free-field response is 18 to 300 Hz (±3 dB), and the maximum SPL is 116.7 dB at 3% THD, measured at 1 m in half space. The amplifier delivers 400 W.
A bypassable 7.1 bass manager with a 4th-order 80 Hz crossover handles signals from mono up to 7.1 and 3D formats. LFE processing has four routing modes and a 0 or +10 dB gain choice. Other controls include input gain, output level, an 8-position phase switch with a test tone, a continuous low cut and a bypassable parametric EQ. A sum output allows Plane Wave Bass Array setups. Several units can be daisy-chained for more output.
Connections are eight balanced XLR analog inputs, with XLR outputs for daisy chaining. Volume, bass management on/off and LFE gain can be controlled from the optional NRC 1 remote, and RS-232 control is possible. The electronics can be relocated with the optional REK 3 kit. The cabinet can sit against a wall or be flush mounted, and a universal power supply covers 100 to 240 V.
