Περιγραφή
The B-8 consists of a clip-on beltpack transmitter and a multifunction pedal receiver. It transmits 24-bit / 48 kHz audio at 2.4 GHz with latency from 2.5 ms and a line-of-sight range of up to 50 m (165 ft). The transmitter has a built-in rechargeable battery rated for up to 6.5 hours and charges by magnetic contact on the receiver. A cable tone switch on the transmitter adds the feel of a traditional guitar cable.
For reliability, the system uses automatic frequency hopping across up to 79 channels of 1 MHz each, true-diversity dual antennas on both units, and six stability levels from 2.5 ms to 8.7 ms. Up to 10 units can run at the same time. The receiver has a 2.4-inch colour display that can be used horizontally or vertically, plus an on-board tuner with four modes and an adjustable A4 reference of 430 to 450 Hz, and a 0 to +12 dB clean boost.
The receiver works as a junction box with input, output, a send/return loop and buffer. An XLR balanced DI output connects to a mixer. The boot-up screen and tuner display can be customised with images through a free GIF Customizer app, and firmware updates are available for macOS and Windows.
