The DDJ-WeGO2 is a small DJ controller that is 38 cm wide and weighs 1.6 kg. It is offered in three body colours, and the colours of the jog lights can be customised separately. A built-in sound card means it can be connected straight to speakers or an amplifier without an external audio interface.
It is designed to be used with Algoriddim's djay 2 app. A supplied Lightning to USB cable links it to an iPhone, iPod touch or iPad, so tracks from the iTunes library can be mixed on the device. The Pulse Control function uses the jog lights to show what is happening in the track, so users can check visually that beats are in sync and adjust the tempo.
An ergonomic carrying grip makes the unit easy to carry and also works as a stand for an iPad. A firmware update (Ver. 1.04) was published in September 2016.
