VC-E2

The VC-E2 is a vacuum-based record cleaner that wet-cleans 12" records at 30 RPM. The metal vacuum arm concentrates suction on the record surface, and a self-adhesive arm strip is fitted to the arm. Records are cleaned and dried in one to two revolutions, and the process also removes static charge and fluid residue.

A magnetic clamp replaces a screw-down clamp. It seals the record label from the cleaning fluid and makes loading quicker. The machine is built from 5 mm aluminium composite panels and is made in Europe. Used fluid is drawn into a 0.5-litre internal tank, which is simple to empty. With the supplied non-alcoholic Wash it 2 fluid, some of the liquid evaporates in the tank, so it needs emptying less often.

The machine runs from mains power, with versions covering 110/120 V or 230/240 V at 50 or 60 Hz. A brush, vacuum arm, arm strip, magnetic clamp, 100 ml of Wash it 2 and a power cable are included. A separate kit is available for cleaning 7" records.
