Concept 90

The Concept 90 is the centre channel of the Concept series. It places two 125 mm mid/bass drivers on either side of a 25 mm tweeter. Its job in a 5.1 system is to anchor dialogue while blending with the front left and right speakers.

The cabinet uses Gelcore construction, a non-setting gel layer between two panels that turns high-frequency vibration into heat. The tweeter sits in a sealed enclosure, mechanically decoupled from the front baffle. The driver assembly is held to an aluminium baffle by pretensioned studs, and the crossover is mounted on the isolation base, away from the drive units' magnetic fields. That base has two plates separated by suspension spheres, which isolates the cabinet from outside vibration, a benefit when it stands directly on a TV cabinet.

It has bi-wire speaker terminals on the rear, so an amplifier can be connected with two pairs of cable. It is offered in black or white to match other Concept models, and a grille is supplied.
