The BigShot SW2 is a two-switch remote controller for amplifiers and effects. Each switch can work in latching mode, for older amps that use contact-closure channel switching, or in pulse mode, for newer amps that sense an electronic pulse. This lets one unit serve both older and newer gear.
A Link function gangs both remote commands onto either footswitch, so a single stomp can change channels on two amps at once, for example moving a stereo rig from a clean rhythm sound to a distorted lead sound. The two channels can also be split, with one switching an effects processor on or off while the other selects an amp channel.
The unit also works as a compact remote controller for Radial Slingshot-equipped devices. In latching mode it can switch amp heads through a Headbone or speaker cabinets through a Cabbone using a standard guitar cable. The model has been discontinued and is no longer shipping.
