The Wireless GO (Gen 3) is a two-channel wireless system using a 2.4 GHz digital link with 128-bit encryption and a low-latency codec. Line-of-sight range reaches up to 260 m. Each transmitter records 32-bit float audio on board, so clipped or very quiet takes can be recovered in post-production.
GainAssist adjusts levels automatically, and the receiver also offers fine gain steps and camera-specific presets. The transmitters' built-in microphones use the same capsules and preamps as the Wireless PRO. Lavalier inputs use locking 3.5 mm connectors, and the receiver has a headphone output with level control, plus plug-in power detection to save battery.
The system outputs both analog and digital audio, so it connects to cameras, iOS and Android phones, and computers as a USB microphone. Direct Connect pairs the transmitters with an iOS device over Bluetooth through the RØDE Capture app, without the receiver. Settings and firmware are managed in RØDE Central on desktop or mobile.
