MX412
Shure MX412 is a 12-inch standard gooseneck condenser microphone from the Microflex line, built for speech in installations such as houses of worship, courtrooms and conference rooms. It has a balanced, transformerless output and takes interchangeable cartridges.

The MX412 is a fixed-install gooseneck microphone with a 30.5 cm (12 inch) dual-flex neck and a low-profile body. It is tuned for speech and can be fitted to a table, lectern, podium or similar surface using a locking flange, which secures it permanently.
The capsule is an interchangeable condenser cartridge. Cardioid, supercardioid and omnidirectional cartridges are offered, and the same cartridges fit other models in the Microflex range. A snap-fit foam windscreen is fitted, and the supplied shock mount is rated at over 20 dB of isolation from surface vibration noise. RF filtering and Commshield construction are included to reject interference from mobile phones.
The output is balanced and transformerless, which helps resist hum and RF pickup over long cable runs. The microphone ships with an installation kit that includes a flange, retainer, isolation ring, shock mount and hex wrench. An optional A412B desktop base is available, and the Microflex family also includes versions with a mute switch and LED indicator.
