Boom Go 3i is a compact portable Bluetooth 6.0 speaker rated at 15W with a peak loudness of 92 dB. BassUp 2.0 processing is used to add low-frequency weight, and the app offers EQ settings, BassUp 2.0, lighting control, a workout timer, an emergency alarm and a voice amplifier.
The body is rated IP68 for dust and water and has been tested against drops from 1 metre. A dual-slot silicone strap works either as a clip for a bag or bike or as a hand strap. Lighting includes 6 music-reactive modes and 8 ambient modes with customisable colours. Playtime is up to 40 hours in Eco Mode at 50% volume with lights off, 24 hours in BassUp mode at the same setting, and 6 hours at full volume with lights on.
Two speakers can be paired in TWS mode for stereo, and three or more can be linked through Auracast. The built-in power bank can charge a phone in an emergency; in the maker's lab test it took an iPhone 17 from 0% to 40% in 60 minutes. A 92 dB alarm can be triggered by pressing the power button five times.
