iM2W
The iM2W is a compact stereo condenser microphone that plugs into the dock connector of older Apple iOS devices, turning an iPhone, iPod touch or iPad into a portable stereo recorder. It has been discontinued.

The iM2W pairs two stereo condenser capsules, of the type used in the maker's DR-series handheld recorders, with a built-in microphone preamp and analog-to-digital converter. It attaches to the 30-pin dock connector of compatible Apple devices and records at CD quality, 44.1 kHz/16-bit linear PCM. The capsules can be angled through 180 degrees from front to back.
For loud sources the unit handles up to 125 dB SPL, and a switchable limiter reduces high-level signals to help avoid overload. A control on the unit adjusts the input level.
The microphone draws its power from the host device through the dock connector. A separate USB input lets the iPhone or iPad be charged from a USB connection or from the optional TASCAM PS-P515U adapter while the microphone is attached. Listed compatible devices are the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch 4G, iPad and iPad 2.
