Περιγραφή

The F8n records up to 8 input channels plus a stereo mix to dual SD/SDHC/SDXC cards (up to 1 TB each), either split or mirrored for redundancy. WAV files are BWF/iXML compliant at up to 24-bit/192 kHz, and MP3 is available at 128, 192 or 320 kbps. Each input has its own gain knob and 6-segment LED meter, with mic/line selection on both XLR and TRS, phantom power, high-pass filter, phase invert and Mid-Side decoding.

Overload protection comes from look-ahead hybrid limiters applied to every channel, and the AutoMix function adjusts levels to reduce ambient sound. Time code runs from a temperature-compensated oscillator with BNC in and out. Other tools include pre-record of up to 6 seconds, dual-channel safety tracks, an ambisonics mode with A-to-B decoding, a slate mic and input and output delays.

Outputs are two balanced TA3 main outs, a 3.5 mm stereo sub out for a camera and a 1/4 inch headphone jack. A 10-pin connector takes Zoom interchangeable mic capsules. The unit runs on 8 AA batteries, a 9-18 V Hirose DC source or the supplied AC adapter, works as an 8-in/4-out USB interface, and can be controlled over Bluetooth LE with the F8 Control app.
