Περιγραφή
The K872 is a closed-back, over-ear headphone built for critical monitoring. It uses 53mm transducers with a 1.5 Tesla magnet system and a two-layer copper-covered aluminium voice coil, covering 5 Hz to 54 kHz. The closed-back cups isolate the wearer from outside sound, which helps keep headphone leakage out of microphones during tracking.
The headband is an open-mesh, self-adjusting design with a quick-lock mechanism that holds its setting between uses. The 3D-shaped slow-retention foam ear pads are replaceable. Critical mechanical parts, including the cardan hinge and headband, are metal, and the headphones do not fold.
The slim cable detaches at the earcup via a LEMO connector and is 3m long. Its plug is a gold-finished 3.5mm stereo plug with a screw-on 6.3mm adapter. A low-profile carrying case that doubles as a stand is supplied.
