Orobas II
Eurorack module with two identical tube-based VCAs that can also be used as a saturator or wave-folder, built around 6J32P (EF86-equivalent) pentodes. It suits modular players who want a tube-driven mixer, VCA or end-stage distortion with CV control.

The Orobas II is a dual vacuum tube VCA and saturator in a 28HP Eurorack format. Its two identical VCAs can be patched in parallel, as mono-to-dual-mono, or in series. They can serve as a dual 4-channel tube mixer or as an end-stage saturator, from mild warmth to heavy wave-folding.
The tubes run at medium, safe voltages so that control voltages audibly change the tone. CV inputs reach the screen and suppressor grids for unusual modulation, and a CV-controlled feedback loop adds further range. Full-range amplification keeps low frequencies thick, and built-in self-patching simplifies routing.
This edition uses 6J32P (6Ж32П) tubes, equivalent to the EF86 pentode, hand matched in-house on a uTracer 3+. The rest of the circuit is practically identical to the first version, which used 6SJ7 tubes. A 12V power adapter for the tube filaments is included.
