The X1622USB is a compact 16-input, 2/2-bus mixer with four studio-grade XENYX mic preamps. Each mono channel has a single-knob compressor, an insert and a British-style 3-band EQ with a semi-parametric mid band. The stereo channels use a 4-band fixed EQ. Clip LEDs, Mute, Main Mix and Subgroup routing switches, plus Solo and PFL, are available on all channels.
A 24-bit dual-engine multi-effects processor offers 16 editable presets, including reverb, chorus, flanger, delay, pitch shifter and combined effects. Two aux sends are provided: one switchable pre/post fader for monitoring or effects, and one post fader that can feed the internal effects or an external unit.
A built-in bidirectional stereo USB audio interface connects the mixer to a PC or Mac with a single USB cable, so any signal source on the mixer can be recorded directly to the computer. Recording and editing software is included.
