The ASW610XP is a powered closed-box subwoofer built around a 250 mm long-throw driver. The cone combines paper pulp, Aramid fibre and resin for stiffness and accuracy, and a built-in amplifier is designed for punch and cool running despite the compact cabinet. Rated frequency response is ±3dB from 25Hz to an adjustable upper limit of 40–140Hz.
Setting controls include line-in and speaker-in input levels, a variable low-pass filter (line input only) with a bypass, bass extension and bass roll-off alignment selectors, a phase switch and auto sense on/standby. Bass extension can be set to three positions, reaching -6dB at 18Hz, 23Hz or 28Hz.
It connects to a stereo or home theater system through an RCA line input or binding-post speaker inputs, and has a 3.5 mm 12v trigger input. The cabinet is offered in black or white, with black or grey grilles.
