SPEKTOR VOKAL

The SPEKTOR VOKAL is a 2-way centre speaker that handles dialogue and effects in a multichannel surround system. It uses two 4½-inch woofers with cones made from a mix of fine-grain paper and wood fibre pulp. The uneven cone surface reduces surface resonance. A 25 mm woven fabric dome tweeter covers the highs, and the two drivers hand over at 2,100 Hz.

The drivers and crossover are custom DALI designs and are intended to keep signal loss close to zero. The driver materials and geometry are chosen for wide dispersion, which gives more freedom in placement and keeps the sound balanced off-axis. Sensitivity is 87 dB and nominal impedance is 6 ohms, with a recommended amplifier power of 40 to 120 watts, so it suits most amplifiers and receivers in its price class.

The speaker connects as a passive centre channel to an external amplifier or receiver. It is a member of the SPEKTOR range and is listed in the maker's discontinued products. A walnut finish is shown, and a removable grille view is offered.
