The Osmo Mobile is a single-unit handheld stabiliser for smartphones. A three-axis Zenmuse M1 gimbal holds a phone between 58.6 and 84.8 mm wide and up to 8.4 mm thick, and a controllable speed of up to 120°/s lets it follow movement. The gimbal is not detachable from the handle.
The handle keeps the Osmo control layout: a trigger locks the gimbal direction when held, re-centres it on a double tap and switches between front and rear phone cameras on a triple tap. A joystick steers the gimbal and, with the trigger held, controls digital zoom. The app offers Walk and Sport follow modes, ActiveTrack subject tracking (not in Portrait mode), motion timelapse with up to 5 points, panorama and live broadcast on supported platforms.
The handle connects to the phone over Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy and is set up through the DJI GO app. The 3.5 mm port is only for charging and firmware updates, and sound is recorded by the phone. It runs on the 980 mAh Osmo intelligent battery and shares the Osmo rosette mount, so Osmo accessories fit.
