UniFi UF5.2

The UF52 is a floorstanding bass-reflex speaker with a true three-way layout. A 1" soft-dome tweeter sits at the centre of a 4" aluminium midrange in a concentric driver, and three 5-1/4" aluminium woofers handle the low end. Crossover points are 200 Hz and 2000 Hz, and the nominal impedance is 6 Ω.

Compared with the first UniFi series, the 2.0 generation has a slimmer cabinet with front-firing port tubes. The concentric driver has a wide-surround tweeter, a larger voice coil, a new aluminium cone profile, a low-profile surround and a neodymium magnet assembly. The woofers use a single-piece dished aluminium cone with an oversized magnet, a larger voice coil and an extended pole piece.

The cabinet has thick MDF walls with internal bracing to reduce vibration, and it comes in a black ash vinyl finish. It connects to an amplifier as a passive speaker; frequency response is given as 42 - 35,000 Hz with a sensitivity of 85 dB at 2.83 V / 1 m and a maximum power input of 140 W.
