The B9 turns the signal from a guitar or keyboard into an electric organ sound using a digital circuit. A rotary selector chooses between nine presets covering tonewheel and combo organ voicings. The percussive key click found on classic B3 and C3 organs can be dialled in, and a modulation control sets the speed of the vibrato, tremolo or chorus effect that goes with each preset.
The pedal has separate level controls for the organ voice and for the dry instrument signal, so the original tone can be layered under the organ sound. Two outputs are provided: one carries the blend of organ and dry signal, and the other passes the untouched input signal at all times, whether the pedal is engaged or bypassed. This allows the dry signal to be sent to a separate amp or channel.
A single footswitch toggles between effect and buffered bypass, and an LED shows when the effect is active. The pedal is mono and runs from the supplied 9.6VDC power adapter, drawing 100mA.
