The Facecam Neo is a USB webcam built around a 1/2.9" CMOS sensor and an f/2.0 autofocus lens with a 77° field of view. It records Full HD at up to 60 fps, and an HDR mode keeps faces readable against bright windows or in mixed lighting, at a reduced 1080p30 frame rate. A slide-over privacy shutter covers the lens when it is not in use.
It works as a standard UVC device, so it needs no software: connect it, pick it as the camera in your app, and it is ready. The optional Camera Hub app for Windows and Mac adds image adjustments, framing and DSLR-style exposure control. The camera has no built-in microphone, so a separate mic or headset is needed for audio, and it does not support Windows Hello.
The camera has a fixed 140 cm braided USB-C cable and connects to USB 2.0 or later Type-C ports, or to Type-A ports with an adapter that is not included. A low-profile monitor mount with a 1/4" thread is supplied, and it works with Windows 11, macOS 13.3 or newer and iPadOS 17 or newer.
