The F502SP is a UK-built floorstanding loudspeaker from Fyne Audio's F500 SP series, sold as a pair. It uses a 200mm IsoFlare point-source driver with a 25mm magnesium compression tweeter and a 200mm bass driver, and is aimed at hi-fi listeners using amplifiers of 30–200 W.

Περιγραφή

The F502SP is a 2½-way floorstanding speaker built in the UK as the SP edition of the F502. It combines a 200mm (8") IsoFlare point-source driver, which has a multi-fibre bass/midrange cone and a 25mm magnesium dome compression tweeter, with a separate 200mm multi-fibre bass driver. Both drivers use FyneFlute roll surrounds. The drivers and the crossover components come from the F700 range.

The cabinet sits on an aluminium sandwich plinth with a BassTrax Tractrix diffuser, retuned for this more compact enclosure. The port fires downwards, and a twin cavity loading system is used. The tweeter's pole piece includes a waveguide intended to keep the frequency response even. The crossover is a bi-wired, low-loss passive design with a 2nd order low pass and a 1st order high pass, and it has been Cryo-Lite treated.

Connection is by speaker cable to an amplifier. Fyne recommends 30–200 W RMS per channel. Finishes are Piano Gloss Black, Piano Gloss White, Piano Gloss Walnut and Natural Walnut. The walnut option has a diamond-cut aluminium driver chassis. In the UK, a made-to-order RAL colour service is also offered.
