LINEAR SUB 2000
Passive double sixth-order bandpass subwoofer with two 12-inch long-excursion woofers, rated 700 W RMS and covering 49–125 Hz. It is meant as the low-end add-on for LINEAR 5 mid/high units and needs an external amplifier with a controller or active crossover.

The LINEAR SUB 2000 is a passive subwoofer built as a double sixth-order bandpass enclosure. It is intended to extend LINEAR 5 top cabinets downward, with output concentrated between roughly 50 and 120 Hz. Two 12" long-excursion woofers with 2.5" voice coils do the work, with a cooling system and a double centring spider to keep cone movement controlled.
The cabinet is made of birch plywood with a Jet black (RAL 9005) water enamel finish and a steel front grille backed with acoustic foam. Four MultiGrip handles help with carrying the 45.6 kg box, and a single M20 pole-mount socket allows a speaker pole or spacer rod to carry a top cabinet above it.
Connection is by NL4 Speakon: one input and one parallel output, wired on pins 2+/-. Because the enclosure is passive and relies on an active crossover, it is driven by an amplifier with a controller. Presets and filter sheets are listed for Lab.gruppen IPX and IPD series amplifiers and for Lake processing.
