GoLive Pro is a pocket-sized audio device that applies studio-style processing to a microphone signal. It runs at 24-bit/48 kHz on a DSP processor and offers reverb, vocal tune and harmony, adjustable EQ, noise reduction, loopback and a voice-over function that lowers background music while the user speaks. For backing tracks it provides pitch shift and a vocal remove function for karaoke use. A 2.31-inch colour TFT screen shows parameters and levels.
Microphones connect through a mini XLR input that supplies 48 V phantom power, or a 1/4 inch jack for dynamic, 5 V powered condenser or wireless mics. There is also a built-in electret condenser microphone and a headset mic input/output. Nine built-in samples can be triggered with the supplied remote control, and users can load their own.
A phone or tablet attaches to the OTG port for streaming, and two Bluetooth modules handle background music and FX Play control. The FX Play software for Mac, Windows, iOS, Android and a WeChat mini app edits effects and samples, adds an exciter, compressor and low/high cut filters, and the settings stay stored in the unit. A 5000 mAh battery gives up to six hours of play time.
