UNO Synth Pro

UNO Synth Pro generates sound with three analog oscillators with continuously variable waveshape, pulse-width modulation, hard sync, FM and ring modulation, plus a white noise generator. It can play monophonically or as a three-note paraphonic synth. Two filters, the original 2-pole OTA multimode filter and a new 2/4-pole SSI low-pass filter with self-oscillation, can be run in series or parallel with invertible phase, giving 24 filter combinations.

Modulation comes from two ADSR envelopes (filter and amplitude), two LFOs and a 16-slot modulation matrix that accepts internal and external sources, including MIDI controllers. Sounds are stored in 256 user-editable presets. A 64-step sequencer records in step or real time and automates up to 40 parameters, including CV and gate. A 10-mode arpeggiator adds a chord mode. Effects comprise an analog overdrive and 12 effects spread over three simultaneous slots (modulation, delay, reverb), which external audio can also pass through.

It offers two balanced stereo outputs, a headphone output, USB MIDI, 5-pin MIDI In/Out with soft thru, programmable CV/Gate in and out, and an audio input to the filters, effects or pass-through. A free Mac/PC editor runs standalone or as a plug-in in a DAW. The keyboard model has a 37-key Fatar semi-weighted keybed; the Desktop model has capacitive keys with pitch and mod strips.
