The TT-15S1 is a manual, belt-driven turntable that plays at 33-1/3 and 45 RPM. Its chassis and platter are made of acrylic, a low-resonance, high-density material, and the platter is spun by an endless silicone belt intended to keep rotation even.
The precision motor is housed separately and does not sit on the acrylic chassis. It is described as floating, so that motor vibration is not passed on to the plinth. The turntable ships with a Virtuoso moving-magnet (MM) cartridge, listed as the Clearaudio Virtuoso MM with a Marantz Virtuoso Ebony stylus, so it can be set up with a standard phono input without a separate cartridge purchase. A clamp is included.
The cartridge is rated at 3 mV output at 1 kHz, with a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range and an 80 dB signal-to-noise ratio. The deck is offered in white and measures 440 x 110 x 350 mm and weighs 8.9 kg. It is a purely analogue product with no wireless or digital connections listed.
