The Bromley 450 is a battery-powered Bluetooth speaker built around a sealed cabinet with two 6.5 inch woofers, four 2 inch full-range drivers and two passive radiators. Amplification is class D, with 90 W per woofer and 55 W per full-range driver. It reaches a maximum sound pressure level of 100 dB at 1 m and has an equaliser, with bass and treble knobs on the top panel. The sound is described as True Stereophonic 360°.
The speaker has a replaceable LiFePO4 battery that gives 40+ hours of playback at mid volume. The battery can be charged inside the speaker or removed and charged separately, and it also works as a power bank. A 20-minute quick charge gives about 6 hours of playback, and a full charge takes 3.5 hours. The speaker can also run from mains power without the battery. It is IP55 rated and has a built-in handle plus four strap anchors. Three light-show presets are built in.
For connections it has Bluetooth 5.3 with Auracast and multipoint, plus wired AUX in/out, USB-C, RCA and two XLR/6.35 mm combo inputs for microphones or instruments. The Marshall Bluetooth app is supported. A microphone is not included.
