The DSL40 Combo is a valve guitar combo with two channels, each offering two modes. The classic channel has gain, volume and a clean/crunch switch, while the ultra channel has gain, volume and an OD1/OD2 switch. Shared controls include treble, middle, bass, tone shift, presence and resonance, with digital reverb available on each channel and two master volumes selected by a switch.
Power comes from two EL34 power valves and four ECC83 preamp valves, giving 40W, which a rear switch lowers to 20W. The amp carries a 12-inch Celestion V-Type speaker rated 16Ω, 70W. Five speaker outputs cover 16Ω, 8Ω and 4Ω loads, and a series effects loop sends and returns signal to external gear.
Connections include a 1/4" instrument input, a 3.5mm auxiliary input and a MIDI/footswitch input, plus an emulated line output. A footswitch is supplied and offers control of clean, crunch, OD1, OD2, master selection and effects loop switching. The amp is designed and engineered in the UK and made in Vietnam.
