The ADVAR is a wired in-ear monitor from Meze Audio built around a single 10.2 mm dynamic driver in a stainless steel housing. It is aimed at listeners who want a detachable-cable IEM that is easy to drive from phones and portable players.

ADVAR is a single dynamic driver in-ear monitor. A 10.2 mm driver sits inside a stainless steel chassis, with a stated frequency range of 10 Hz to 30 kHz, a sensitivity of 111 dB SPL/mW at 1 kHz and a nominal impedance of 31 Ω. Distortion is given as under 1% at 1 kHz, and each earpiece weighs 21 g.
The earphones use MMCX connectors, so the cable can be removed and swapped. The supplied cable is a 1.2 m silver-plated copper (SPC) lead ending in a 3.5 mm gold-plated jack. Balanced 2.5 mm and 4.4 mm gold-plated cable options have been offered as an upgrade choice, and the 4.4 mm option is marked as discontinued. A separate MMCX silver-plated upgrade cable is also sold.
The package includes five pairs of Final Audio Type-E ear tips in sizes SS to LL, an MMCX removal tool and a hard carrying pouch. The design draws on Romanian folklore.
