The P609 is a wired in-ear earphone from Nagaoka's VINON range of higher-quality earphones. Its aluminium housing is intended to damp unwanted vibration, so that high-resolution audio is reproduced from low bass through to the upper frequencies.
It uses a 6.8 mm driver with a 16 Ω impedance and 96 dB sensitivity. The stated frequency response runs from 4 Hz to 90,000 Hz, well beyond the usual audible range, which varies between individuals. The cable is 120 cm long, and ear tips in S, M and L sizes are supplied for fit.
The earphone was released on 27 March 2017 in black, royal blue, indigo and silver, with red and champagne gold following in mid-April 2017. A 6-month warranty applies. The model is now listed as discontinued.
