The MS60 is a single-colour COB LED light with a 65W maximum output and a fixed 5600K colour temperature. It is rated at 40000 lux at 1 m (120000 lux at 0.5 m), with CRI 97+ and TLCI 98+. Brightness is set from 0 to 100% in 1% steps using PWM dimming, and the output is flicker free at a 1/2000s shutter speed. Nine built-in scene effects are available for video work.
The light can be operated from its control panel, from the NEEWER app on iOS or Android, or over a 2.4G link. The app also handles over-the-air firmware updates. With 2.4G, several NEEWER lights set to the same channel (00-99) can be synchronised within about 15 m (49 ft).
Power comes from a wall adapter, or from NP-F or V-mount batteries, which need separate battery plates and are not included. A Bowens mount adapter and an umbrella socket allow softboxes, umbrellas, beauty dishes and other modifiers to be fitted. The body is aluminium alloy with a 180° handle for handheld use and a quiet cooling fan, and it weighs 700 g without accessories.
