The Concept 300 is a two-way reflex standmount loudspeaker sold as a pair. Its MDF cabinet uses point-to-point bracing for low-frequency vibrations and a three-layer construction separated by a non-setting gel that turns high-frequency vibration into heat. The finish is multiple gloss lacquer coats combined with real-wood veneer, offered as Black & Rosewood or White & Light Oak.
The 165mm mid/bass cone is impregnated paper with a rubber surround, a 35mm glass fibre voice coil and a ferrite magnet. The 28mm tweeter uses coated microfibre, is decoupled from the cabinet by a rubber gasket and has a shallow horn-shaped front plate. Both drivers are fixed from behind with spring-tensioned bolts, so no bolt heads show on the baffle.
A sprung isolation base plate carries the speaker on four springs. It is designed to pair with the Tensegrity stand, a tripod of stainless steel rods and cables, available as a bundle or bought without stands. The rear panel has electrically isolated terminals for bi-wiring or bi-amping, accepting bare wire, spade connectors or 4mm banana plugs.
