Aerophone GO Plus

The app connects to an Aerophone GO and makes more than 50 additional sounds available, including sax variations, oboe, bassoon, recorder, shakuhachi and bagpipes. The app's sounds play through the smartphone's speakers or headphones. The player can try them while playing along with songs stored on the phone.

For practice, the app offers 11 tutorial songs that show fingerings as the song plays, with a guide melody, adjustable tempo, fingering tracking and medals for accuracy. Songs from the phone can be slowed down, shifted in key, looped with A/B repeat, balanced with a playback level control, or stripped of the vocal with the center cancel function, whose result varies by track. A built-in metronome click is mixed with the instrument's sound on the phone.

The app also changes instrument settings: fingering setup, bite sensor adjustment and breath control sensitivity. It connects by Bluetooth, and Android devices can alternatively use the USB cable supplied with the instrument. The Aerophone GO's internal volume should be turned down while connected.
