Boom 3i is a compact outdoor Bluetooth speaker with 50W output and a BassUp 2.0 mode that reaches bass down to 56 Hz. The IP68 rating covers water and dust, and the casing and coating are tested for 240 hours of salt spray. The speaker is designed to float and correct itself so the sound stays facing forward, even in waves.
Extra functions include a Voice Amplifier for recorded voice messages, a 96 dB emergency alarm triggered by holding the BassUp button for 5 seconds, and Buzz Clean, which shakes dust and debris out of the driver. Two units can be paired for stereo sound with split channels. A detachable strap allows clipping, slinging or carrying by hand, and playback runs up to 16 hours.
The soundcore app handles the EQ, BassUp 2.0, Buzz Clean, Emergency Alarm, Voice Amplifier and lighting settings, and delivers firmware updates. The speaker connects to phones over Bluetooth.
