Περιγραφή
The 217e Plus SB is a right-handed, six-string acoustic-electric built around a torrefied Sitka spruce top and a Grand Pacific body. The roasting process is meant to give the spruce a warmer, played-in character while keeping projection and low-end power. Back and sides are layered Indian rosewood in a two-piece configuration, and the guitar uses C-Class bracing. It is made in Taylor's Tecate, Mexico factory.
The neo-tropical mahogany neck has a standard carve, a 25-1/2" scale and a 1-11/16" nut width. The West African Crelicam ebony fretboard carries faux pearl 50th Anniversary diamond inlays. The top has a tobacco sunburst, and the body and top are finished in gloss, while the neck and peghead are matte.
For amplified use it has Expression System 2 pickup electronics, with a volume control and active treble and bass controls. There is no built-in tuner. The guitar is supplied with D'Addario XS coated phosphor bronze light strings and an AeroCase.
