Περιγραφή
The 24ce pairs a solid mahogany top with layered, two-piece sapele back and sides in a full-size Grand Auditorium body. The top gives a warm, dry voice weighted toward the midrange, and the body shape is described as suited to both strumming and fingerstyle. C-Class bracing is used inside the body.
The neck is hard rock maple in a standard carve, with a West African Crelicam ebony fretboard, 4mm faux pearl dot inlays, a 25-1/2" scale and a 1-11/16" nut. Finish is matte throughout. Cosmetic details include a black single-ring rosette, tortoise pickguard, paddle peghead and die-cast chrome tuners. It comes strung with D'Addario XS coated phosphor bronze lights.
For amplified use the guitar carries Fishman Presys VT electronics, with volume and tone controls mounted at the soundhole. It plugs in through a standard output and ships in a Taylor gig bag. The model is built in Taylor's factory in Tecate, Mexico.
