This six-string cutaway guitar pairs a gloss-finish Sitka spruce top with sapele back and sides in a Grand Auditorium body. The tone is described as a punchy midrange with clear trebles and a warm low end. Scalloped V-Class bracing with a relief rout is used inside the body to add volume, sustain and pitch accuracy.

The Action Control Neck uses a long-tenon joint and a patented system that lets the player change string height without a full setup. The neck is Neo-Tropical mahogany with a West African Crelicam ebony fretboard, a 1-3/4" nut width and a 25-1/2" scale length. Cosmetic details include Weathervane inlays, a firestripe pickguard, black binding and nickel tuners.

For amplified playing the guitar has the Claria acoustic pickup system, a piezo-based design with controls mounted at the soundhole. It ships with a brown Taylor Deluxe hardshell case and is available in right-handed and left-handed versions. The adjustment tool for the neck is not included.
